An Argument for the Stationary Earth Known as Always True and Never False and the Moving Earth Known as Never True.

The stationary Earth is revealed by God in several texts of the Old Testament -

1 Chronicles 16:30 - tremble before him, all earth; yea, the world stands firm, never to be moved.

Psalms 93:1 - The Lord reigns; he is robbed in majesty; the lord is robbed, he is girded with strength. Yea, the world is established; it shall never be moved.

Psalms 96:10 - Say among the nations, "The Lord reigns! Yea, the world is established, it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity."

 

As God is the principal author of the Old Testament, (as known by the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church), and God cannot lie, the revealed truth of the stationary Earth is never false.

Contrarily, the theory of the moving Earth is not revealed and is then only a theory of science. And yet a theory of science is never proven true, and may always be false. Also, a theory of science, because it is never proven true, is never known to be true. Therefore, the theory of the moving Earth is never known to be true from within science and may always be false within empirical science. In fact, as the moving Earth theory is false from divine revelation, the theory of the moving Earth is always known as false.

Conclusion – The stationary Earth is always known to be true and never known to be false. The moving Earth theory is never known to be proven true, and is always known to be false, as revealed by God in the Old Testament.
