The Problem of Atheism’s Affirmation of Quasi Polytheism when an Infinite Series of Causes is Affirmed.

An infinite series of causes may be affirmed by atheism to deny the existence of the uncaused cause as concluded by monotheism. But to affirm an infinite series to account for the contingent existence of a creature is to affirm many infinite series exist. For many creatures exist, each of which must have an infinite series to account for the creature as an effect of the series.

And each infinite series has an infinite number of causes acting now. Therefore each infinite series has an infinite being, which is a series existing like a god of infinite being. And an infinite series which has infinite being is a quasi god, like that of the real, singular God, who is infinite being. Then a multitude of infinite series is to have a multitude of quasi gods. But to have a multitude of quasi gods, is to hold to quasi polytheism.

Therefore, atheism concludes to quasi polytheism. But quasi polytheism is not atheism, but quasi theism. Therefore, atheism is quasi non theism and quasi theism, and thereby both self-contradictory, and false.
